Liquidware shows exclusive new features in Adaptive Workspace Management Suite and Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Atlanta, GA - May 21, 2019 - Liquidware, the leader in adaptive workspace management (AWM), today announced it will demonstrate ten years of end user computing innovation at this year’s Citrix Synergy. As the leading independent third-party company providing comprehensive management solutions for hybrid multi-platform workspace environments, Liquidware will exhibit at booth # 401 at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, GA, May 21-23, 2019.

"Liquidware launched in 2009 and we’ve been a sponsor at Citrix Synergy every year since. Our adaptive workspace management suite speeds login times, enables fast and dynamic application provisioning through layering, and ensures the best end user experience through in-depth monitoring and diagnostics. Furthermore, it is exciting to witness Liquidware becoming the de-facto standard for organizations to manage their hybrid workspaces, whether they’re physical, virtual or cloud-based," commented Jason E. Smith, VP Products, Liquidware. "We believe that emerging hyperconverged and cloud-hosted desktops are a game changer and enable the workspace digital transformation that the market has been asking for."

Liquidware adaptive workspace management solutions comprise Stratusphere UX visibility, user experience monitoring and diagnostics, ProfileUnity user environment management, and FlexApp application layering, and can be purchased together as Liquidware Essentials.

Liquidware will have speaking slots at the following locations:

Innovations on display include exclusive features in FlexApp – such as Click-to-Layer, ideal for Citrix published desktops and apps as it allows you to ‘hot add’ an application to a Citrix environment without the need to reboot or take a server offline – as well as new in-line released versions of ProfileUnity and Stratusphere UX, that both contain enhancements to user experience.

Liquidware will also be showcasing native in-guest metrics from Stratodesk’s NoTouch OS. Detailed user experience metrics and OS performance metrics will be captured via a Stratusphere UX Connector ID Key. The data will be made available for greater visibility of the NoTouch OS; including endpoint utilization and resource consumption, as well as information to support management and troubleshooting of endpoint-related performance. The newly integrated agent will also be showcased at Stratodesk’s booth #405.

In addition, Liquidware is a sponsor of The VDI Lockdown Guide authored by EUC expert Patrick Coble. Patrick will be in Liquidware’s booth on Wednesday at 1.30pm to sign pre-release editions of this ‘must have’ guide for securing business critical apps on virtual desktop infrastructure.

MVP Symon Perriman Joins Liquidware Experts to Explore WVD on Azure

Tue, 2019-02-19 08:01

Internationally renowned expert joins Liquidware pros to discuss leveraging Liquidware products in Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) deployment ahead of Public Preview.

Chicago, IL — Feb. 19th, 2019 — Liquidware, the leader in adaptive workspace management, today announced that it will host a webinar on Feb. 21, with internationally acclaimed Microsoft Expert, author, keynote presenter, and technology personality, Symon Perriman to explore the benefits of virtualizing desktops in a public cloud. The informative webinar comes just ahead of the much anticipated public preview of Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD). In preparation, Liquidware and Microsoft delivered a joint solution brief which details how the solutions work together to deliver easy to on-board and manage Microsoft WVD workspaces on Azure.

"The public cloud is now seeing real adoption of virtual desktops, and nobody has more or deeper expertise in freeing desktops from on-prem and readying them for the cloud, than Liquidware. They’ve been doing great things with physical, virtual and cloud desktops in the areas of user environment management, application layering and monitoring," said Perriman. "This webinar will take a hard look at the benefits companies stand to gain from virtualizing their desktops in a public cloud, why Microsoft Azure and WVD promises to be a premiere platform, and how Liquidware’s suite of adaptive workspace management solutions – Stratusphere UX, ProfileUnity and FlexApp – play into that."

Microsoft WVD, expected to be generally available this summer, has been verified to work hand-in-glove with Liquidware’s FlexApp Layering, ProfileUnity User Environment Management, and Stratusphere UX monitoring and diagnostics software. This thanks to a partnership between Liquidware and Microsoft that has seen close cooperation between product management at both companies. As a result, with Microsoft WVD and Liquidware, joint customers will experience an end-to-end solution that delivers high-fidelity Azure-hosted desktops at scale and at a cost-effective price.

"We’re committed to our partnership with Microsoft WVD and how we jointly solve a historically complex and expensive problem for businesses and organizations alike. Whether it is the ease of virtual desktop assessments, seamless user migrations to Windows 10 and Microsoft WVD, application layering, enterprise grade profile management, process optimization or quicker overall logons – when WVD is coupled with Liquidware solutions we empower customers to extract the full value of modern desktop technologies and transform their Windows workspaces to meet the needs of the cloud era," said Jason E. Smith, VP of Product Marketing, Liquidware.

Perriman added, "With the combination of WVD and Liquidware, organizations can easily evaluate, migrate, and manage their desktops in Microsoft Azure using advanced security with policy management, application restrictions, granular privilege elevation and much more. We’ll delve into all this and more in the webinar."

25 free licenses of Liquidware’s solutions will be distributed to Microsoft Certified Professionals who attend the webinar.

Liquidware Showcases Healthcare Successes and Citrix Cloud Desktops Strategy at HIMSS19

Tue, 2019-02-12 08:00

The company highlights its successes with major providers in healthcare at the Citrix-Ready booth 527 and lays out the strategy to move to cloud-hosted desktops.

Chicago, IL — Feb. 12th, 2019 — Liquidware, the leader in adaptive workspace management, today announced that it will participate at the HIMSS19 conference and expo; demonstrating recent enhancements and industry-first features to its ProfileUnity and FlexApp products, and showcasing compelling new healthcare case studies. The company, which celebrates its tenth birthday this year, will join long-time partner Citrix at the Citrix Ready Partner Pavilion – booth number 527 – at this leading global health information and technology conference, taking place Feb. 11-15, 2019 in Orlando, Fla.

Liquidware’s success in the healthcare industry is well documented and the vertical shares some credit for making it the leading and only remaining independent player in the adaptive workspace management arena. The Liquidware Essentials suite eases the pain for healthcare organizations as they grapple with balancing the everyday challenges of embracing digital transformation along with burdensome HIPAA and other regulatory requirements. This year alone, Liquidware has added on new joint Citrix desktop customers such as the largest children’s healthcare provider in the Southeast as well as in Philadelphia to provide next-generation desktop environments. In addition to that, the team has welcomed additional Citrix customers including the largest university-based healthcare provider in Utah and the largest healthcare provider in the greater Louisville, Kentucky area to design a cloud-ready environment that works best for them whilst significantly decreasing time spent managing desktops.

Last month, Liquidware unveiled several major enhancements to ProfileUnity and FlexApp v6.8. FlexApp’s new industry-firsts include the ability to store FlexApp to Object-Based Cloud Storage, including Amazon S3, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure Blob. Complementary to that, FlexApp Caching makes layered apps readily available even in the face of unstable cloud connections. FlexApp Cloud Apps is another industry-first that makes more than a dozen pre-packaged, cloud-hosted, ready-to-deploy apps available to users for the rapid spin-up of pilot projects and easy cloning for production environments.

Together with FlexApp, ProfileUnity received an update in the form of a New Licensing Server which enables concurrent license models and accurate in-use license counts of both products, a feature that is especially important to healthcare, government and education customers. Finally, both products enjoy faster client execution times thanks to a startup agent that reduces login times by several seconds.

"This is our best release, ever – a true game-changer that will have a significant impact on our joint Citrix and Liquidware healthcare customers," said Jason E. Smith, VP of Products at Liquidware. "It’s an exciting time to be in the workspace management solutions space. We’re seeing significant momentum in the movement of desktops to the cloud, with partners using Liquidware to liberate user profiles from legacy on-prem for the move to cloud-based desktops as a service (DaaS) such as Citrix virtual apps and desktops on Azure or Google Cloud. The healthcare industry is a key part of this movement as we will demonstrate at this year’s expo."
